On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to welcome you to the Canadian Food Engineering Conference – 2026 (CFEC’26), scheduled for May 14–15, 2026, at the University of Guelph. Since its debut as the Guelph Food Engineering Conference (GFEC) in 2023, it has steadily grown into a prominent and influential platform for knowledge exchange. CFEC 2026 represents a significant milestone as we elevate the conference to an international stage, uniting researchers, industry leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from Canada and around the world. This event is hosted by the University of Guelph, one of Canada’s top-ranked institutions in Food Science and Technology.
